Our History
Mr. Ghulam Hussain founder of Tanveer Salt, has started the SALT business in 1942, he was born in 1917 in Khewra Pakistan.
In 1977, Chairman Tanveer Salt, Mr. Tanveer Saqlain completed his education and started helping his father. Under the leadership of Mr. Chairman, Tanveer Salt achieved unbelievable milestones in Punjab Pakistan. Peoples of Muridke calls him ‘Father of Salt’.
Mr. Chairman said, “Salt is very important in daily life, that’s why this need should be made accessible to everyone."
In 2006, Mr. Faraz Saqlain the eldest son of Mr. Tanveer Saqlain completed his higher education and decided to accelerate his family business from national to international level. He who is now the C.E.O. of Tanveer Salt. Mr. Faraz always says, “World needs Himalayan salt and we will ensure the supply”.

Mr. Faraz Saqlain is the CEO of TST who always says, “World needs Himalayan pink salt & we will ensure the supply”. We take raw Himalyan Pink Salt from mine then process it through the latest machinery to manufacture & export Himalayan bulk salt products. Our plant is operating in Lahore. Our goal is to ensure the availability of Himalayan pink salt around the globe.
